This course focuses on the early weeks and months of pregnancy and is tailored to the requirements of the attendees. It covers the health and development of the foetus, coping with pregnancy and work and when to organise yourself for labour and birth.

The course is aimed at people who cannot commit to the same evening every week for six weeks. It covers all the same information as the Ante-Natal course but in one weekend.

Fathers are welcome at all our courses but we have also designed a workshop enabling you to explore your own role during this special time.

The world of baby equipment has become bewildering in its diversity. Here is an opportunity to explore which kit best meets your needs, how everything works and what will suit your lifestyle.

This course is designed for mothers and fathers who want more information and practical guidance to help them breastfeed successfully. There is also the opportunity to discuss when and how bottle-feeding can be introduced if you chose.

This course can be delivered before the birth of your baby but ideally will happen just after you come home from hospital. A specialist in newborns will come to your home to show you how to manage the practicalities and care for yourself as well as your new baby, focussing on all aspects of the first few weeks at home.

This course is particularly helpful for extended family, enabling them to explore the meaning and impact of PND. With greater knowledge and understanding, it is easier to deal with its consequences and to offer support appropriate to the medical care being received.

Weaning can be a daunting prospect so we have designed a course that covers both traditional and baby-led weaning to allow you to understand and feel confident in each method.
